ARQUILED helps EDP to reach the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Top
EDP achieved the best score in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and Arquiled was cited by the company as one of three partners that “helped” it achieve the result.
Arquiled is highlighted by EDP as a partner that “supports the integration of the index”, namely through the Economy and Innovation strand, on the common path to more “energy efficiency and economic and ecological sustainability” and the promotion of “sustainable urban centers.”
Arquiled’s contribution to the result obtained by the electric company in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index is translated into 3 concrete indicators: nº. of Produced LED Luminaires and estimates of the Energy Savings of installed luminaires and the CO2 Emissions averted by it.
In addition to these indicators, EDP describes Arquiled as an innovative company that provides “energy efficiency and economic and ecological sustainability solutions” and whose “own production and development” is based on the “unique attributes of reliability and quality”. The Electric Company also states that its “bet” on Arquiled’s “pioneering” work came to fruition with the entry into Arquiled’s capital through the EDP Ventures investment fund.
