Digitizing the water supply system
According to ARQUILED’s CEO, saving significant amounts of water requires real-time monitoring of the water distribution system
In an opinion article (in Portuguese) published in the online magazine Smart Cities, Miguel Allen Lima points out once more that the huge amounts of treated water lost in the public supply system are mainly due to its advanced age and the absence of effective monitoring mechanisms.
But for the CEO of ARQUILED, it is possible to act actively and systematically to “prevent and reduce water waste, thus maximizing management efficiency (…), promoting sustainability and reducing commercial losses.”
How? Incorporating technology. Namely, combining IoT with an artificial intelligence system.
